Short Bio: Preda  Mihăilescu is professor to Mathematisches Institut, Georg-August-University, Goettingen (Germany). He studied mathematics and computer science at ETH-Zürich (Switzerland), where he received his doctorate in 1997, with the thesis Cyclotomy of rings and primality testing.

In 2002  he succeeds in demonstrating a famous conjecture made in 1844 by the mathematician Eugène Catalan. The result is known today as Mihăilescu's theorem.

Some talks: Invited lecture at Fourth European Congress in Matematics Stockholm, Sweden, June 27 - July 2, 2004; plenary talk at British Mathematical Society Colloqium Newcastle upon Tyne 10-13 April 2006; invited lectures at Frontiers in Mathematics Lecture Series Texas A&M University Department of Mathematics; invited lecture at Cambridge University Kuwait Foundation Lecture, invited lecture at Transilvania University of Brasov in 2019.

Research interests:  Iwasawa Theory, Diophantine Equations, Algorithmic Number Theory, Biometry and Security

Publications in J. Number Theory, Lecture Notes in Comput. Sci., J. Reine Angew. Math. and many others. He is the editor of the book Contributions in Analytic and Algebraic Number Theory edited together with Valentin Blomer to Springer, 2012.

Short Bio: Erdal Karapinar is visiting professor at China Medical University,
Taichung, TAIWAN and full professor at Cankaya University in Ankara, Turkey since 2020.  He was full professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Atilim University Ankara Turkey  (2016-2019).

Publications: He is author of more than 350 articles most of which are published in international ISI journals. He is the author of the book Fixed Point Theory in Metric Type Spaces (with R.P. Agarwal, D. O’Regan, A.F. Roldán-López-de-Hierro), Springer International Publishing (2015).

He is highly cited researcher from 2014-2019 according to Clarivate Analysis database.
Research interests: Fixed Point Theory, Best Proximity Point Theory, Linear Topological Invariants,
Isomorphisms of  Cartesian products of  ℓ-power series spaces, ℓ-Köthe Spaces, Fréchet Spaces,
Orlicz Spaces. Current research interests of E. Karapinar is centered on: Fixed point theory and its applications.

Short Bio: Marian Gidea joined Yeshiva University in New York City in 2013. He held previous appointments at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in Berkeley (research professor, 2018), the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton (member, 2011-2013), Northeastern Illinois University (tenured professor, 2000-2013), Northwestern University (visiting assistant professor, 1999-2000), Loyola University Chicago (visiting assistant professor, 1997-1999).

Research interests: Dynamical Systems and its applications - including Celestial Mechanics, Mathematical Physics, Mathematical Biology, and Financial Mathematics -, and Topological Data Analysis.

Short Bio:

Detlef Streitferdt is the leading the Teaching Group Informatics at the Technische Universität Ilmenau since 2019. Before that he was leading the leading the Software Architectures and Product Lines group. The research fields are the efficient development of software architectures and product lines, their analysis and their assessment as well as software development processes and model-driven development. He was Principal Scientist at the ABB AG Corporate Research Center in Ladenburg, Germany, where he started 2005. He was working in the field of software development for embedded systems. Detlef studied Computer Science at the University of Stuttgart and spent a year of his studies at the University of Waterloo in Canada and graduated 1999. He received his doctoral degree from the Technical University of Ilmenau in the field of Requirements Engineering for Product Line Software Development in 2004.

Research interests: 

Efficient development of software architectures in different application domains, analysis and assessment of software architectures, methods and tools for software development.

Short Bio: Javad Tayyebi is an associate professor at Department of Industrial Engineering, Birjand University of Technology, Iran (2021-2022). He was an assistant professor at the same department since 2016. He received several research rewards in his country, such as the reward of young researcher.
