Study programmes

This master's degree programme is in the field of Mathematics, but it is also open to graduates of computer science, technical or economic studies who want to specialize in the field of mathematics. The duration of studies is 2 years (120 ECTS credits). It is a research master's degree programme that aims to offer advanced knowledge of mathematics necessary in education, economics or research. Completion of this programme of study enables graduates’ professional insertion in different fields that require a higher mathematical training.

 Perspectives after graduation: pre-university teacher; mathematician specialist in computer science, economics, finance, etc.; doctoral studies.

This programme belongs to the master’s degree field of Computer Science. The duration of studies is 4 semesters (2 years). Students deepen their skills in developing web applications, both in terms of programming (software) and infrastructure (hardware and Internet communication). Upon completing this study programme, graduates can approach several professions in the IT field which deal in Internet communication.

 

Perspectives after graduation: web application developer; web application tester; database server administrator; application server administrator, computer systems designer.

This programme belongs to the master’s degree field of Computer Science. The duration of studies is 2 years (120 ECTS credits).

Students attending this programme acquire knowledge and skills in the following areas: specification, design and development of software systems by using procedural languages, object-oriented languages, declarative languages, databases, methodologies and development platforms; operation, use and administration of computer systems, computer networks, database management systems.

Perspectives after graduation: system analyst, software designer, web and multimedia systems designer, application programmer, database designer and administrator, system administrator, computer networking specialist.

This programme belongs to the master’s degree field of Computer Science. The duration of studies is 2 years (120 ECTS credits). Students acquire theoretical, applied and practical knowledge in applied informatics based on new technologies; theoretical knowledge and advanced skills for the development of modern applications using Internet technologies; theoretical, applied and practical knowledge on the specification, design and development of software systems, operation, administration and security of computer systems, communication networks, distributed database management systems, clusters especially for mobile phones in e-business ; development of communication skills in a widely circulated language (German and English) and interdisciplinary collaboration, specific to the process of making / using software systems on the Internet / Intranet and especially for the mobile phone. The master's degree programme offers a double degree to graduates who will attend studies at TU Ilmenau University in Germany for 2 semesters, and 2 semesters at Transilvania University of Brasov. Students will benefit from a master's degree from the university where they will finish their master's studies. The trip to the partner university is supported by the DAAD programme and / or the EU Erasmus+ programme.
